- Type-material: syntype workers (number not stated).
- Type-locality: Turkey: Ismid, nr Smyrna (= Izmir) (no collector’s name).
- Type-depositories: MHNG, MSNG.
- Subspecies of adriaca: Shattuck, 1994: 31; Kiran & Karaman, 2012: 4.
- Subspecies of communista: Seifert, 2012b: 98, 102 (by implication as adriaca synonymised with communista by Seifert).
- Distribution: Turkey.
